Oftentimes, installation requirements pose interesting challenges. In this case, The Welmar Group was tasked with building and installing insert stack silencers into the stacks at 90′ above ground level with no easy access for our installation personnel. This necessitated some ingenious rigging methods in order to be able to remove the lifting cables after installation, and all without the use of a helicopter or a large crane.

Our team worked with the client to design the acoustic mitigation silencers for their ventilation system together, and plan the difficult installation service. After completing the fabrication process, we transported the silencers to the installation site located in Welland, Ontario.
